Day 1

LOS ANGELES

Welcome to the CITY OF ANGELS. Your guide will be at the airport to assist you upon arrival and a complimentary transfer will be provided to the hotel.
Stroll down the world famous Venice Beach Boardwalk and its legendary MUSCLE BEACH Gym, once the home of body builders Arnold Schwarzenegger and Lou Ferrigno. Take advantage of some free time to take a walk on the beach and admire the stunning sunset.

Day 2

LOS ANGELES / CALICO / LAUGHLIN

Explore the effervescent city of LOS ANGELES and its diverse neighborhoods. Discover the skyscrapers of DOWNTOWN, the luxury boutiques of RODEO DRIVE IN BEVERLY HILLS and HOLLYWOOD, cradle of the American film industry. Relive the Old West as you wander through the abandoned streets of CALICO GHOST TOWN. Whiskey was once cheaper than water in this silver mining town founded in 1881. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the HIGH MOJAVE DESERT and the sparkles of LAUGHLIN, the “little Las Vegas” nestled on the banks of the COLORADO RIVER.

Day 3

LAUGHLIN / GRAND CANYON / FLAGSTAFF

Follow America’s Mother Road, the legendary « ROUTE 66 » to the GRAND CANYON. Carved by the Colorado River, the Grand Canyon offers one of the most magnificent natural scenery. Admire this spectacular landscape changing as the sun moves and marvel at all the geological wonders.

Day 4

FLAGSTAFF / MONUMENT VALLEY / PAGE /KANAB

Wind your way through the ancestral land of the Navajo Indians: the striking and mysterious Monument Valley. Discover the Navajo people, their fascinating culture, their traditions and even their cuisine as you enjoy a Navajo lunch cookout. More spectacular views await as you arrive on the shores of the glittering Lake Powell.

Day 5

KANAB / BRYCE CANYON / LAS VEGAS

After a quick glance at Kanab, which was home to John Wayne and Garry Cooper while shooting westerns in the region, enter the spectacular BRYCE CANYON NATIONAL PARK named by the Indians ‘rocks which resemble men’. Marvel at the towering limestone spires rising majestically among the thousands of pink, orange and yellow pinnacles. This magnificent scenery is the result of millions of years of erosion. Visit Utah’s first Mormon temple in the thriving town of. ST. GEORGE and head for the neon lights and glitters of the Sin City.

Day 6

LAS VEGAS / DEATH VALLEY / BAKERSFIELD

Explore LAS VEGAS: try your luck at the casino, take a serenaded gondola ride, enjoy the panoramic view from the top of the Eiffel Tower or gaze at a delightful fountain show and discover the many facets of the sparkling city. Delve below sea level and marvel at the sublime lunar landscapes of the DEATH VALLEY. Tour the “Borax Museum”: learn about the native tribes that inhabited the area and unravel the geological secrets of the Death Valley. Glance at the prosperous farmland of California as you make your way to BAKERSFIELD.

Day 7

BAKERSFIELD / SEQUOIA / MODESTO

You will feel so small walking among the gigantic sequoia trees of the Sequoia National Park, the most impressive of them all, General Sherman, measures an astounding 275 feet high and is considered to be the world’s largest tree. Wander through the various trails to admire these giants. Mount Whitney rising majestically to over 14000 feet is another natural wonder of the Sequoia National Park.

Day 8

MODESTO / SAN FRANCISCO

Explore the cosmopolitan city of San Francisco, stroll down the colorful streets of Chinatown, ride the cable car down to the FISHERMAN'S WHARF and meet Pier 39’s noisy colony of sea lions known as the “Sea Lebrities”. Marvel at the iconic GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE, the astonishing panoramic views from the famous TWIN PEAKS and the elegant Victorian houses. You will, without a doubt, fall in love with the city of the bay, but will you leave your heart in San Francisco?

SAN FRANCISCO

This wonderful adventure stops in San Francisco. According to the return flight schedule, enjoy some free time to explore the city at your own pace. Stroll down the very crooked Lombard Street, laze in a café in North Beach or find some peace and love in Haight-Ashbury before you take your complimentary transfer to San Francisco International Airport.

Please take in consideration the possible extra charges applicable for gas prices raise.
Details about 2013 estimated prices: Our prices are based on the actual price of the barrel and are guaranteed up to 109$ maximum. Beyond that limit, a gas surcharge will be applied for every extra $10 increments that the barrel price will reached. Therefore prices will be raised by 1.5% for a barrel between $110 to $119, and +3% for a barrel of $120 to $129, etc. The reference price used to generate the billing will be locked 45 days prior to the departure, regardless of the original billing date.

Tipping is an institution in the United States. The etiquette recommends tipping your guide (about $3/day/person) and the driver (about $2/day/person).
To help you discover the essence of the American West, this circuit contains many steps between which the distances are consistent. This circuit pace is substantial.
If for technical reasons, changes need to be made in the order of the program or to the visits of the program will still be respected. "Free time" is provided during the circuit to give room to your personal interests. During this time no transportation will be provided.
